About these terms
The Human Family is an initiative of The Raines Foundation. By creating an account or using this website, you agree to these terms.
Your account
Accounts are free. Provide accurate information when you join, keep your password private, and use the password reset link if you lose access. You are responsible for activity on your account. An account does not confer corporate voting rights in the Foundation or guarantee funding or future services.
Posting and sharing
You choose who sees your Global Square posts: All Humanity or Connections only. Wisdom Insights are always public. Any post can be shared through a public link. Only share content you have permission to share, and you remain responsible for what you post. You can edit or delete your own posts. By posting, you allow us to display and share your post on this website as you have chosen.
Respectful participation
Respect privacy, consent, differing beliefs, and the dignity of others. Do not post harassment, spam, unlawful or confidential material, sensitive personal details, or misleading claims of charitable status or Foundation approval. Connection requests should be genuine and respectful.
Moderation
Assembly News, Resolutions, and Events are published by our admin and staff. Department accounts speak for Foundation departments. Administrators may review reports, remove content, and restrict or close accounts that break these terms.
Donations
Donations are processed securely by Stripe as one-time or monthly gifts. Gifts to the 100% Fund go to partner charity projects in clean water, food and nutrition, education access, health and wellness, and a healthy environment. Gifts to the Operations Fund support running The Human Family. You can manage or cancel a monthly gift at any time through the Stripe customer portal linked on the Donate page; canceling stops future payments. If you believe a gift was made in error, contact us and we will review your request.
Charity Pages and projects
Members may create Charity Pages for organizations they are authorized to represent. Pages are reviewed and verified by admin before they appear publicly. Verified charities may post projects. The Human Family funds specific projects, not charities generally, and verification or a project listing is not an endorsement or a promise of funding.
Ambassadors
Submitting an Ambassador application does not guarantee acceptance. We review applications and will contact you about next steps.
Resources
You may use and adapt the initiative's original worksheets for your own learning, organization, or community activity. Do not imply Foundation endorsement of your work. Materials on this website are not individualized legal, financial, medical, or other professional advice.
Community walks and gatherings
Walks and gatherings posted by members are organized by those members. Posting one does not mean the Foundation has approved, insured, or agreed to supervise it.
Changes
We may update these terms as the platform changes. The date above shows the latest version.
Accessibility
We aim to make this website usable with keyboards, screen readers, and different screen sizes. If something prevents your access, tell us what you were trying to do so we can help and improve it.
